(TASS)

Tavistock Area Support Services is a local registered charity providing a range of services to support older people and adults with disabilities to enable them to improve their health and well-being.

We rely on donations and grants to support our work within the local community. We cover areas within West Devon. Our work is staffed by a small team and we rely on volunteers for most of our activities. . We support over 600 local people on a monthly basis.

Our Objectives…

Improve Well-Being by connecting people with others and decreasing social isolation.
Promote Independence.
Improve access to a range of activities supporting well-being and health.

NOTICE: FOOD BANK VOUCHERS

Due to a change in the assessment procedures, from

Wednesday 8th January 2025

Tavistock Area Support Services will no longer be

able to issue Food Bank Vouchers, except to

TASS clients or Food Bank

referrals that are 55 years or older with a

pre-arranged appointment where they will be

assessed for eligibility.

We apologise for any inconvenience, for more information

Tuesdays 2-4pm

Relaxed session for creativity of your choice – drawing, painting, colouring. Bring your own materials or use our supplies at TASS.

All abilities welcome.

Life Stories Project Talk

St John’s Chapel in Tavistock: a medieval history of hermits, hospitals and holy water by Sharon Gedye.

Free talk; donations appreciated.

Love to Sing

4th Wednesday of the month

2pm – 3.30pm

Come along and join us for a friendly, enjoyable afternoon of singing.
