Once a month we host a support group for those who have lost a loved one.

It is the most difficult time and sharing some of that confusion and loss with others in a similar situation helps.  There are so many different ways in which you miss someone but one of the most common shared by many is the loss of someone to cook for and enjoy a meal with.

As an add on to the Bereavement Support Group, we are beginning a 12 week social cooking course.  An opportunity for people to come and learn or share skills in preparing a meal then eating it together.  We hope that friendships form and that people will continue to meet at each others homes with the aim of cooking and sharing a meal together so that support continues into friendships and networks.
